Serrubec Inc. Declaration as it concerns COVID-19 in Quebec

Serrubec Inc. (Serrubec) is a supplier of equipment in the areas of access control, security and locksmith supplies (key and padlock products). In its capacity as such, Serrubec serves hundreds of institutional, industrial and commercial clients across Quebec, including Integrated Health and Social Services Centres (CISSS), Integrated University Health and Social Services Centres (CIUSSS).

As confirmed on March 23. 2020 by the CISSS of Montérégie-Est and the CIUSSS de l’Est-de-l’île-de-Montréal, as a company involved in the operation of the health and social services network, Serrubec's activities are considered an essential service under the health emergency decree currently in force in Quebec. More generally, Serrubec's operations can also be considered essential as Serrubec provides work equipment for safety and protection, as well as maintenance and operations of Quebec's strategic infrastructure and is a major supplier to construction firms for emergency dispatching or security purposes, and trades for emergency services, namely locksmiths involved in emergency services (Priority Activities).

Bearing in mind the directives from Quebec’s public health authorities aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19, we have limited the scope of our activities to those we consider pertain to Priority Activities, and have adopted a variety of sanitary and operational measures directed at our employees, clients and facilities, including social distancing. These measures are published on our website
